the rumors are a-circling! with all that toyota has been doing to try and amp up excitement and support for a brand that, frankly, has needed all the help it could get these past few years, it's about time we get a luxury car that has the potential to compete with the major brands...
what on earth am i talking about, you wonder. i wonder what YOU think of when you think of the toyota avalon? do you think of old people, grannies and grampies, attached to their big honkin' boat of a vehicle?
think that no longer.
toyota recently let dealers sneak a peek at the apparently completely redesigned avalon, and the response was impressive. brent berge, son of my dealership owner, said that it will blow your mind. i know, i know, you doubt me. but here's what autoblog.com and auto nation had to say: "the large sedan will reportedly undergo a massive redesign that will morph the avalon from a granny-glider to a curvy stud, with design comparisons already being made to the audi A7 and the jaguar XJ."
