scion update :D

so. i'm down to two new scions, of which, i'll be taking photos tomorrow. i still have the 2012 xB and the 2011 xD, very well-priced, well-equipped, beautiful vehicles. also, they're super fun to drive.

also: i have a couple of commercials (from europe) for the scion iQ, which will be released in the US this coming fall/winter. they're adorable, and these clips really highlight the maneuverability of the car...as well as show off it's crazy unique features.

oh hello, 2012 camry hybrid...

autoblog.com has snagged what could quite possibly be the first shots of the 2012 camry...hybrid. if it is in fact the redesigned camry, i'm kind of confused.

don't get me wrong, it looks great. slightly more aggressive, with sharper lines and some new elements. but with all the teasing toyota has been doing, telling us that it will look completely different, i think i was definitely expecting something else.

riverview FINALLY has some new scion xB's, xD's, and tC's. they are flyyyyyyyying out of the dealership (not even kidding, we got these puppies in on friday and we've sold 2/5 already!) so be sure you stop by to take a peek before they're gone!

rumor has it...

the tacoma is getting a "facelift"!!

according to the wall street journal (WSJ, for those of us too lazy to type it over and over), toyota is planning on revamping some aspects of the tacoma to give it refreshed look for the 2012 model year. this is part of toyota's efforts to release all-new or updated versions of the vehicles already available.

i don't know about you, but... i'm kind of excited to see what look toyota has in store!

p.s. for you spec nerds, the revamped taco will have the same engine and frame it currently has, just a different exterior look, as well as toyota's new ENTUNE system :)

hi there, i'm talia and i'm a sales/leasing rep at riverview toyota-scion in mesa, az :)

(it looks like this every single day...most days...)

i'm new to the area and don't know many people out here, which definitely makes it hard to expand a customer base, so i'm using this blog to communicate with customers and friends, as well as to keep them updated on all the happenings of toyota and scion...believe me, there's some exciting things happening!

first, a little bit about me:

i've never sold cars before in my life. prior to this, my biggest sale was a $400 blackberry to some rural villagers back in my homestate of alaska. now, i'm selling things that are 100x as expensive! ay dios mio. i'm one of four lovely salesladies at riverview. they made the mistake of going from 0 to 3 women in a span of two days, so these poor guys got an OD of estrogen...i think they're adjusting better now :)

second: i'm no car expert, by any means. i am not one of those to get all technical on you, but i will try my hardest to keep postings as relevant and informative as possible. we have lots of awesome new product getting ready to launch soon, so i'll try to keep it up-to-date!

lastly: let me know what you want on here! it's my JOB to make the customers happy, and, as lots of people will tell you, i do a pretty good job. you just have to let me know what it takes :)
